Todd V. Elsbernd

1960 - 2013

Todd died November 13, 2013. He had been a cherished member of this firm since 1997. He was a dear friend and colleague. Todd fought hard for his clients and was respected within the legal community for competence and honesty. During the week of his death he had celebrated his 25th anniversary of being a member of the Nebraska Bar. He posthumously received the Distinguished Service Award from the Nebraska State Bar Foundation

Todd was a devoted husband and father. He was always proud to speak of the accomplishments of his boys and was actively involved in their activities. His wife, Jeanie, was the love of his life.

He made many contributions to Grand Island as: Grand Island Public School Board, an instructor for Nebraska Hunters Safety Education, long time supporter and board member of Ducks Unlimited, active in River Dogs a youth baseball league, a Grand Island Public School band booster, a member of IOLTA, a Nebraska Bar committee, and more with a primary focus on youth activities.

Todd had a great sense of humor. He lit up every room he entered. In his wake he left people a little happier. He came in to the office every day giving everyone a personal "hello."

Todd was an avid hunter and fisherman. He would say that his true love was just being outdoors and enjoying nature.

He remains sorely missed by his family, his many friends and all of us here at Bradley Law Office, PC.
